Project Overview
Bhagwan Marine Pty Ltd (BM) were contracted by Ports Victoria (PV) to complete a Wharf Remediation package over 4 years. The package involved a wharf remediation at Station Pier, Victoria’s premier cruise ship wharf. Due to the high utilisation of Station Pier, works on the wharf had a time crucial element with the works to be completed during the cruise off-season.
Including:
- Over 230 Pile Repairs (Wraps, Encasements, Splices & Collars) over 3 Months.
- Pile Driving
- Remediation and Replacement of Crossheads, Beams & Bracing
- Temporary Support Design/Implementation
Additional objectives include:
- Undertaking rehabilitation works in a safe and sustainable manner.
- Performing rehabilitation works with minimal disruption to tenant activities and shipping logistics.
- Completing the rehabilitation works with no negative impact to the surrounding environment and local community
The contract is a significant milestone for Bhagwan Marine and marks the company’s continued growth and partnership with Ports Victoria.
