Towing Operations

Effective towing operations, whether infield, offshore, port or ancillary towing, are about having the right vessels on hand, manned by experienced crews. 

Bhagwan Marine has been a towage company since day one, and we have completed every type of operation possible in almost all Australian waters and beyond. Our towing services have been in demand for oil & gas operations, port services, ancillary towing, construction support, and coastal and ocean towing. 

Our commissions have included long-distance towing operations across oceans and seas, including tows to Pacific Island destinations. We have worked in every possible environment, from the far eastern coast of Russia in the Bering Sea to Australia’s busiest and most critical ports. 

We create a comprehensive tow plan, backed with an emergency plan, and we ensure that the right vessel is available for the job. Our current tug boat fleet consists of the complete range of ASD Harbour Tugs, Coastal Towage Tugs and Anchor Handling Tug Supply boats, readily deployed to any destination. 

Barge Operations

Our tow fleet is augmented by Bhagwan’s extensive range of flat top barges for construction, work and transport support, with lengths to 64m and GRT to 1226. We have pontoons, haulers, work punts, crane barges, and 12m transportable construction barges accessible at points around the Australian coastline, ready for fast deployment when required. 

Our expertise is acknowledged in ports and waterways around Australia, and our crews have the experience and equipment to ensure that every commission we undertake is completed safely, to time constraints and budgets.
